The last day of May witnessed the Blaser delivery of 25 Vita II hospital recliner chairs to the Cantonal Hospital of Uri (KSU). The new KSU building is the largest project that the Canton of Uri has ever implemented. It is also the manifestation of work by many generations and the guarantee that canton inhabitants will get high-quality medical care for years to come. The new hospital building replaces the old one built in 1960s.
It includes:
- 3 operating theatres
- 2 nursing wards with up to 80 beds
- Single and double rooms
- Modern day clinic
- Gynaecological clinic and maternity ward
- Modern treatment and therapy rooms
- Public restaurant with coffee bar
- Large green park
The new KSU is a model to follow: it has not only a brand new building, but also new medical treatment equipment. Multi-bed rooms have given way to single or, at most, double-bed rooms.
Thanks to the mobile nursing chairs Vita II with Sanitized® antimicrobial hygiene function, patients are even more in the focus. The chair Vita II is thought-out to the smallest detail. It is needed for care and rehabilitation. It is comfortable, mobile and durable.
Vita II is the latest chair from Blaser and is the result of a consistent further development of proven products. The model is characterized by its simple modern design, with automatic length adjustment of the footrest to the patient’s height adding to its advantages. The design by Cuno Frommherz is clearly visible in the lines of Vita II.
The Cantonal Hospital of Uri provides top quality healthcare that residents of the canton can count on.
