W. Blaser AG successfully passes the strict SQS audit and confirms that it masters quality and environmental management at a high level in conformity with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
The quality of Blaser products and customer focus have always been the quintessence of Walter Blaser’s product philosophy. Walter Blaser’s innovation spirit and Urs Blaser’s responsible quality management helped create new high-quality products tailored to customers’ needs. No wonder such products gained popularity fast. Bendicht Strahm, Managing Director of W. Blaser AG from 1981 to 2017, followed this tradition and ensured that BlaserChair products for the medical sector were ISO 13485 certified in 2004. 13 years later, the quality and environmental management of W. Blaser AG was confirmed by the SQS certifications in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
In June 2021, the Blaser team under the leadership of Lukas Graf successfully passed the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications, thus confirming the company’s responsibility in terms of sustainable quality and environmental management.
Bruno Schaller, SQS lead auditor, noted: “The company has always been able to inspire the auditor anew. The management system has been constantly adapted and optimized together with the company’s tool. With the expansion and current status of the B-Tool (the company’s own ERP system), orders can be processed with genuine professionalism in a matter of minutes. The status of orders or other key data can also be retrieved at the touch of a button. This gives the company a clear picture of its affairs. The company also succeeded in securing its know-how considerably. With the management system (BlaserMachs manual) and its own ERP system (B-Tool), the company has a management tool that many companies would wish for. Congratulations!”
Lukas Graf, owner and managing director of W. Blaser AG, stressed the necessity of the ERP system: “Our own ERP (B-Tool) was developed because I neither like to search for data nor do repetitive work several times a day that could actually be automated. Due to the current price developments, I am dependent on daily updated prices for our assembly calculations. There’s no way around an integrated tool.”
The feedback from the internal audit of 5 May 2021 from Manuel Wyss, System-Alpenluft AG, also backs up the right choice of the tool: “With B-Info, you’ve really built a good tool that partially replaces you.”
